The 2nd Annual Academic Recognition Banquet to be held May 9th at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame will honor both the distinguished graduate and their selected staff member.

Tickets may be purchased at the High School office for $25.00 per person. The Chicken Place from Marlin will be catering.
Robinson Festival 5K Run
Early Saturday morning, October 20, you may have noticed a bunch of runners of all varities running along Old Robinson Road. They were the participants in the Second Annual Robinson Festival 5K.
Grant Awards Presented
The newly formed Robinson Education Foundation awarded the first annual round of educational grants on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. The primary activity of the Education Foundation is to fund creative and innovative learning programs not typically covered in the normal school budget. Teachers have been invited to apply for funding to implement these programs.
Innovative Grant Program
RISD TEACHERS: The Innovative Grant Program offered through the RISD Education Foundation, is designed for teachers at Robinson ISD who wish to apply for additional funds for their classrooms.

Dear Friends of the Robinson School District,
Thank you for your continued support! We are so very excited to report that we are around 73% of our annual fundraising goal of $75,000.
We are accepting contributions for founders, a one-time opportunity, through December 31, 2012.
Commitments are accepted up through December 31, 2012 and payments can be made over the following twelve months through December 31, 2013.
Founders and Contributors can pay by check, credit card, installment and by cash. Donations are tax exempt in the year paid.
Founder's Sphere of Support
To kick off our Founder’s member drive, we are hosting a Founder’s Sphere of Support Luncheon on November 1, 11:30-1:00 p.m., at Texas Star Hall, 514 South I-35 (on the frontage road, just past Pat’s Gowns) and we hope you will join us. If you are not able to attend, but would like to become a Founder, you can return the enclosed card. If perhaps you feel you cannot contribute at this time, we want you to join us anyway so that you can learn more about our foundation and be able to share with others. The deadline to RSVP is October 15.
